Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Ingest ("the Service"), provided by Ingest Africa ("we", "us"). By creating a workspace or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Ingest helps small businesses manage customer records and send automated reminders and notifications via WhatsApp, SMS, and M-Pesa-linked triggers. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating a workspace and are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Ingest to send spam or unsolicited messages, harass anyone, violate WhatsApp's Business Policy or any carrier's rules, or break applicable laws. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

4. Billing and cancellation

Every account starts with a 14-day free trial — no credit card required. After the trial, Ingest is billed monthly in advance at one flat price for your entire team, and you can cancel at any time from your settings. If you cancel, your subscription stops at the end of the current billing period and we don't refund fees already paid.

5. Your data

You keep ownership of the customer records and content you add to Ingest. You grant us the limited right to store and process that data as needed to provide the Service. You are responsible for having permission to contact the people whose records you store.

6. Third-party services

Ingest relies on third parties such as WhatsApp (Meta), SMS providers, and M-Pesa payment services. Your use of those services is also subject to their own terms, and we're not responsible for outages or changes they make.

7. Availability

We work hard to keep Ingest available, but we provide the Service "as is" without warranties of any kind. We're not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

8. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced in the app or by email. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them. Questions? Email pansah@ingest.africa.
